Keith’s unique background and decades of experience have shaped how he leads the charge at Havarti Risk. Keith served as Chief Actuary and Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance at Elevance. He is surprisingly good at communicating for an actuary. And his grounded optimism guides the firm's approach to their work with clients: “Healthcare will get better the same way it got broken. A series of small steps and incremental changes that add up.”

In addition to leading the team at Havarti Risk, Keith is Managing Director of Havarti Ventures, a healthcare seed stage fund. Keith advises several healthcare companies, including Aegle Capital, Ilant, MediDrive, MOBE, and Quinsite, and mentors a number of Healthcare Chief Actuaries. Keith is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and Chair of the General Committee of the Actuarial Standards Board.

If all of this leaves you asking, “Does Keith have time for a personal life?!” the answer is yes. Keith and his lovely wife enjoy playing a bird-themed board game, in a bird-themed room, with their adult kids. Truth be told, Keith doesn't really enjoy the game all that much. But he will play any time to be with the family.
